Usain Bolt Falls To The Ground, Loses Final Career Race (Video/Photos)

Usain Bolt ended his stellar career in excruciating pain. His farewell race took an unexpected turn when the Jamaican great crumpled to the track with a left-leg injury as he was chasing a final gold medal for the Jamaican 4x100m relay team on Saturday at the world championships.

Bolt suddenly screamed and stumbled as he came down with his golden farewell shattered by the first injury he has experienced at a major competition.






The host country, Great Britain, finished first in 37.47 seconds, followed by the United States (37.52) and Japan (38.04)



It’s unclear how serious the injury is, but this is a sad end to a career in which the sprinter has set world records in the 100m and 200m sprints and taken home an astonishing eight Olympic gold medals. But once a Legend - Always a Legend. Watch video below:
